Last month, we dedicated a new bronze plaque honoring 25 years of the Feeding Ministry — a ministry built on compassion, dignity, and community. ❤️

We are grateful for the faithful leadership of Janet Pecci and Kate Stryker, former and current ministry coordinators, and for the many volunteers who continue to serve our neighbors each week.

The plaque was made possible through gifts made in memory of Sue Starnes. We were honored to have Mel Starnes and family members present for the dedication as we celebrated this meaningful moment together.

We extend a HUGE thank you to the women of West Raleigh Presbyterian Church and Davie Street Presbyterian Church for choosing Seasons Village as the nonprofit organization whose mission you would support in a collaborative fundraising initiative. Not only that, your presence and volunteer efforts during our Pathways to Prosperity program exemplified the servant’s heart that lead you all. Your donation will provide direct support to the families we serve. We are grateful!

May 4th was a joyful evening for Presbyterian Women! 💐 Over 40 women gathered for dinner, fellowship, and celebration as we honored our new Honorary Life Members, Martie Leming and Rachel Nicholson, for their faithful service and creative gifts to WRPC. From children’s worship to music ministry and beautiful church artwork, their impact is felt throughout our church. ❤️

The Jody Brammer Memorial Hot Dog Cookout is a tradition rooted in care, remembrance, and community.

Planned and prepared by church members in honor of Jody’s faithful service, this gathering is more than a meal. It’s a shared table where Feeding Ministry guests and volunteers sit side by side, where stories are exchanged, and where community takes shape in simple, meaningful ways.

Moments like these reflect the heart of the Feeding Ministry, which continues to nourish both people and connection every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

On Sunday, May 17 at 3 PM, our Chancel Choir and the choir of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will present Vivaldi's tuneful and uplifting "Gloria" in the Holy Trinity sanctuary.

This labor of love was made possible by WRPC's farewell gift to Music Director Emeritus Tom Lohr. It unites his former and current places of worship in an ambitious musical collaboration that neither could undertake alone.

Only 30 minutes in length, the piece is full of drama and rich imagery, and is accessible to everyone. Join us!

Kirk of Kildaire “Concerts for a Cause” presents Dick Hensold, a Northumbrian smallpiper, and Rosalind Buda, a bassoonist, performing a rollicking blend of traditional Celtic tunes and other music.

Admission is free, but all donations will help build the primary school West Raleigh is sponsoring in Ambararata, Madagascar. Last summer, Presbyterian missionaries Dan and Elizabeth Turk hosted a small group of folks from West Raleigh in Madagascar. After meeting the villagers and seeing first hand the need of a school, they committed to raising $27,000 needed for its construction. The school will serve over 50 students in grades 1-4 and will shape this and future generations. It will also serve as a community center to bring villagers together.
