sfchurch.com Southbridge Fellowship is a church in Raleigh, NC. Since that time, Southbridge has seen hundreds of lives change.

It began when about 40 people gathered to talk about what it would look like to plant a church in Raleigh. From the start, Southbridge was called to be an outwardly-focused church. The mission is to proclaim the gospel of Christ so that others would be connected to Jesus for life change. Marriages have been restored. Addictions have been broken. People have come to Jesus for the first time and peo

ple have returned to Christ. The seeds for Southbridge Fellowship were planted as God gave Scott Lehr, then a student in the master of theology program at Dallas Seminary a vision for a church focused on seeing lives changed by Jesus Christ. The vision continued to be nurtured when Scott, now Lead Pastor at Southbridge Fellowship, and his wife Shanna served in the church planting program at Fellowship Bible Church in Arkansas. In May 2006, Fellowship Bible Church sent the Lehrs out to plant a church that focused on being part of a community. As the Lehrs considered where to plant a church, God pointed them to a place they had never lived and rarely visited – Raleigh, NC. When Southbridge Fellowship launched at the Brier Creek Movie Theater in March 2007, the message was about a big God with immeasurable power who can do more than we can ask or even imagine. Today as we look back, God has indeed done more than we imagined. Weekly Service Times

When trials come, followers of Jesus can endure with genuine hope, not because suffering is easy, but because Jesus rose from the dead, making every trial meaningful and giving believers an unshakeable, living hope that nothing in this world can touch.

Watch part 1 of our The Story Takes Root with Pastor Brad:

What happens when the gospel collides with a culture that feels completely hostile to it?

Our new series through 1 Peter looks at how the earliest Christians learned to live out a vibrant, visible faith while feeling like total outsiders.

Over the next five weeks, we will discover how a living hope in Jesus gives us the resilience to stand firm and keep doing good, even when the heat gets turned up.

Join us on Sundays at 9a + 11a.

How does the church survive and actually thrive when the surrounding culture pushes back?

In his first letter, the Apostle Peter writes to a scattered church facing heavy social pressure, isolation, and hostility. His message to them is the exact message we need today: our faith is not meant to wither under pressure. It is meant to take root.

Swipe through to see 5 ways 1 Peter teaches us to navigate a hostile culture, stand firm in our true identity, and follow the footprints of Jesus when the heat is turned on.

"Your involvement here doesn't save you."

It is so easy to fall into the trap of trusting our own goodness, our bank accounts, or even our full participation at church. But none of those things can buy us mercy.

🇺🇸 On this Memorial Day, we remember and honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. Their selflessness and dedication will never be forgotten. Today, we express our gratitude and stand united in remembrance.

The parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector exposes the danger of spiritual self-confidence, showing that genuine right standing with God comes only through humble dependence on Jesus rather than confidence in one's own goodness.
