Prayer for Mothers on Mothers Day,

Our Father in heaven, thank You for all You keep on doing for mothers and reminding us of the gifts of life that You provide through mothers.

I pray that above all things that mothers experience Your love for us and strength given to us to nurture, teach, and mature children in the ways You have given to us to impart to them.

Thank You for the joy, peace, love, edification, exhortation and comfort You impart to mothers and thank You for the gratitude that flows from the hearts of children and fathers.

God, we mothers give You praise for the honor of being chosen by You to be mothers and for always giving us streams of knowledge, wisdom, compassion and ways of helping children during all
seasons of their lives.

Sovereign and almighty God, You have blessed mothers to love and to minister to children beyond our offspring and we thank You for using us in caring for all the children within our scope of influence.

It is because of You that we have greater understanding of and are grateful for the privilege and honor of being mothers. Our hope is in You for the compassionate care and love from mothers be
experienced by all.
