🌟 Ministry Spotlight: Knights of Columbus

What does it look like to put faith into action?

At St. Francis of Assisi Parish, the Knights of Columbus (All Saints Council 9709) have been doing just that since 1988, serving our parish and community through the principles of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity.

From supporting parish ministries and Catholic education to assisting those facing food insecurity, illness, disability, natural disasters, and other hardships, the Knights are committed to living the Gospel through service. In the last five years alone, they have helped raise and donate more than $100,000 to organizations that uphold the dignity of every person and respond to the needs of our neighbors near and far.

The Knights are more than a service organization; they are a brotherhood of Catholic men striving to grow in faith, strengthen their families, support one another, and make a meaningful difference in the world.

Think you're too busy? The Knights believe that even a small commitment of time can have a lasting impact on your parish, your family, and your own spiritual life.

St. Francis of Assisi Parish is honored to celebrate the special year of St. Francis, proclaimed by Pope Leo XIV to mark the 800th anniversary of our patron saint's death.

This Franciscan Jubilee year is more than a remembrance of the past; it's an invitation to renew our commitment to living the Gospel through peace, humility, service, hospitality, and care for creation.

Throughout this special year, our parish community will gather for meaningful celebrations, faith formation opportunities, service experiences, and traditions that reflect the enduring spirit of St. Francis. From our campus walking tour and Ministry Fair to Francis Fest, the Franciscan Spirit & Life Convocation, and the Elevated Parish Mission, there are countless ways to deepen your faith and embrace our Franciscan heritage.

As we commemorate this Jubilee, we celebrate not only the life of St. Francis but also the vibrant community that continues to carry his mission forward here in Raleigh. Together, may we renew our call to be disciples of Christ and instruments of His peace in the world.

Serve behind the scenes, make a meaningful difference!

We are seeking volunteers to assist with washing and ironing altar linens used in our liturgies.
This quiet but important ministry helps ensure that our worship spaces are prepared with care and reverence.
