The Diocese of Raleigh Racial Justice and Reconciliation Ministry will celebrate a 1pm Memorial Mass of St. Peter Claver, Sept. 9, at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral in Raleigh to mark the launch of this new Diocesan initiative. Refreshments and presentation to follow in the Parish Hall.

On Sunday, Aug. 23, the Diocese of Raleigh celebrated its 19th Annual Diocesan African Heritage Celebration at Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral. Bishop Luis Rafael Zarama presided, and Father Kenneth Ujunwa Oguzie, C.S.Sp., delivered the homily.
