This Sunday's Worship — July 12th, 10:00 AM
Join us for a casual worship service in the basement of the Millbrook Masonic Lodge, located directly next door to our Church. All are welcome!
Accessibility note: For those with mobility needs, please enter through the basement doors at the back of the building.
Following the service, those who are able and would like to are invited to walk over to the Church courtyard for a brief time of prayer together.
A few reminders:

Our Church building remains closed until power is restored and we receive clearance.
The Church office is closed; staff are working remotely and can be reached by phone or email.
Please hold off on visiting the building or attempting any cleanup — mitigation professionals are still assessing the site. A member clean-up day will be announced once it's safe.

This morning we did not gather for worship due to an electrical fire caused by a power surge in the Church library early this morning. The fire was mostly contained to the Church library and the connected electrical room. Thankfully and most importantly, no one was injured and the fire was contained by Raleigh FD.

We give thanks for the volunteers who responded to these events and for the Raleigh Fire Department for their prompt response.

At this time communications and power is down at the Church we do not know when it will be restored. When updates are available on this situation and our building we will communicate via phone tree and on this platform.

In the meantime we pray, we give thanks, we share our bonds of love, for God’s grace, peace and presence is with us. Although we did not gather in person this morning, we remain grateful for the faithfulness of God and His presence through times likes these.

Until we gather again, let us give thanks to God that no one was injured and for the blessing it will be to return in worship together. I will be in touch in the coming days. -Weston

Longview Baptist Church in Raleigh is seeking a part-time music director. The music ministry at Longview Baptist Church is dedicated to inspiring and uplifting the entire congregation, from the young to the young at heart. We consider the music ministry to be one of the strongest areas of the ministry in the church. Longview has approximately 30 choir members, two accompanists with over 20 years of faithful service, and a passion for traditional music. We seek a candidate with strong conducting and leadership skills to provide trained leadership and oversight of our music ministry.
