The North Carolina Council of Churches is inviting churches across our area to join together in a simple yet powerful act: ringing bells and offering prayers for peace.

Inspired by the long tradition of bells calling people to prayer—and by the quiet witness of the Buddhist Walk for Peace—this moment invites us into a shared expression of hope, unity, and compassion.

At 6:00pm, we will ring the bell at WBPC for fifteen minutes, joining others across our city and state, creating a gentle wave of sound across our communities—a reminder that faith still calls us toward peace.

If you would like to come at 6:00pm for this time, know you are welcome to do so. Wherever we are, may we all lift fervently our prayers for peace in our world today.
