Today is Pastor Appreciation Day, and we’re celebrating Pastor Lynton! 🙌🏼

Pastor Lynton, thank you for loving people well, leading with faith, and continually pointing us back to Jesus. Through your encouragement, wisdom, humor, and heart for people, God has used you to restore hope in more lives than you probably realize.

We’re grateful for the way you lead this church family and for the difference you continue to make in our community. We love you, Pastor Lynton!

Sometimes missing church doesn’t start with a big decision.

Everybody’s tired. The kids are moving slow. Somebody can’t find a shoe. Staying home just feels easier.

We get it. Life gets busy.

But there’s something powerful about making room for what matters, worshipping together, being around people who know your name, letting your kids grow up surrounded by people who love Jesus, and being reminded that whatever you’re walking through, you don’t have to walk through it alone.

So if it’s been a Sunday (or quite a few Sundays), there’s no guilt here. Just come.

Giving isn’t a deal with God. He doesn’t owe us something in return.

Our time, talent, and treasure are ways we get to honor God and make a difference in the lives of others. We don't give them to get something. And if salvation was the only thing He ever gave us, we’d still have plenty of reason to say we’re blessed! 🙌🏼

Yes, some conversations need to happen. Yes, some decisions need to be made. But some things just need a little time, a little prayer, and a whole lot of trust. 🙏🏼

We have a way of treating uncertainty like an emergency: I need an answer. I need to know what happens next. I need to fix this.

But sometimes faith looks like being able to say, “I don’t know yet… and that’s okay.”

God is still with you in the unanswered questions. He’s still working when you can’t see what’s next. And you can trust Him without having the whole thing figured out.

So breathe. Pray. Give it some time.

You don’t have to solve tonight what God is still walking you through. 💙

Life has a way of draining us. But God’s Word has a way of filling us back up. 🙌🏼

The Bible isn’t just something we read. It reminds us who God is, who we are, and where our hope comes from. When life gets loud, His Word brings our focus back to Jesus. When we’re running on empty, it gives us truth to stand on and strength to keep going.

So before you scroll a little longer or carry the weight of another day on your own, open the Word. 📖⚡

Recharge your soul. Refocus your heart. Keep your eyes on Jesus.

Some things you build aren’t for you. But that doesn’t make them any less worth building!

David had the vision, but Solomon would see it completed. Instead of checking out, David decided to help prepare the way.

THAT is legacy. It’s realizing that what God has put in your hands today can bless people you may never even meet. 🙏🏼
