We believe in upholding and teaching the doctrine and worship practices of the Baptist Church, while working together as an Association to strengthen our churches and communities. Our work includes fostering spiritual fellowship, responding to the needs of our members, and supporting institutions like Shaw University and Shaw Divinity School. Through training programs, compassionate counsel, and a strong Ordaining Council, we help churches grow in leadership and ministry. We also strive to support our members socially, politically, and economically, and we take pride in celebrating the achievements of our churches and their members throughout the Association.
