In Christian infertility circles, it’s not uncommon to hear only the “success stories” of the Sarahs, Hannahs, and Elizabeths whose wombs were opened after years of waiting.

But for every story like theirs, countless unnamed women never became mothers. Their faith was no less genuine and no less valuable to the Father.

When we present only the “success stories,” we inadvertently suggest that those still waiting simply haven’t waited long enough or prayed hard enough. We create a false equation: faithfulness + time = children.

Rachel explores how toxic positivity and prosperity-Gospel thinking can quietly creep into our hearts, distort the truth of God’s love, and add spiritual weight to an already heavy cross.
