When we humble ourselves, heed the Lord's guidance, and obey scriptural principles, we can confidently expect God to reveal the superiority of His ways, resulting in a beneficial outcome. I can attest to this personally - I experienced it at work this morning. According to Psalm 110:1, God has promised to make our enemies our footstool, but only if we stop trying to accomplish this on our own.
