In 2008 the “how it works” came from the lord and scared me some due to its set up. In 2010 the name came “Bulldog for Christ” or BFC. I am outreach minister mostly finding and teaching basics; taking an average from 3 weeks to 6 months depending on the fit. Fit means in the process of discipleship. I’m in search of vast people with depth that fit the personality traits of each other. After the ri
ght fit is made “all too often made on its own by getting them in one room together where ever haha” they spend time together often “do life sort of speak.” I always keep in contact with both of them and if that disciple feels that he or she wants to be an evangelist after being grown from a sapling to a tree that has taken root “not easily plucked up” they become a BFC kid. The process starts over with over site by leadership in the ministry. The name “Bulldog for Christ” came from Luther young bulldog I had from the time I became an on fire burning up Christ follower. I have never owned a bull breed before prior to, though I have had sled dogs and there drive and endurance in New England for years in the family. Here is the most loveable dog I have ever had to everyone he meets. Only 5 ½ months old run around in the yard. I have 2.5 acres of land sitting on a dirt road lot of acres between everyone. The chow mix called bear ran up from a ¼ of mile. Luther didn’t know where to even bite, but he never gave up 87 pound dog to 60 pound playful Luther. After the interaction Luther was till just as playful 5 min later covered in holes and blood. Luther grabbed on to other side and just held on and broke and hung on to whatever he grabbed again until the other owner and I could break it up. That was the first time I saw a bulldog never giving up against all odds whatever the enemy could dish out. I am building Bulldogs for Christ that will not let go of the cross of Christ. If you have ever pulled a bulldog away from whatever it was after and you hold loosens for even a second. The dog returns to whatever you pulled it away from with just as much or more intensity then the start. Against all temptation that the enemy the devil can throw at you Christ can deliver you. Hold fast! “Be of good courage and faith not for you will reap.” In a day an age that most give up. Even if you have given up on the lord long ago and a tale now about how you were close to god. If you remember it “we at BFC will remind you” you can run back to HIM, whether you know it or not He will run to you to if you make the move back. You don’t have to run alone either! We WILL be right behind you brothers and sisters!!
