Cowboy hats in church? Absolutely! Come as you are; hat and all. I’ll be honest: I’ve wrestled with this myself. I was taught growing up that wearing a hat in church was disrespectful, almost like breaking a rule. And for a long time, that shaped how I felt. But over time, I’ve learned something important:
God is far more concerned with the condition of our hearts than the clothing on our heads. As we talk about the Law this week, it’s a good reminder that Jesus didn’t come to burden us with more rules He came to fulfill the Law and invite us into grace.
So wear your hat. Bring your story.
Just show honor in the moments that matter most; prayer, Scripture, communion. Everything Ive found says if the Pastor says it's OK it's OK. So as the Pastor I say it is OK!
Let’s keep our focus on Jesus, not on outward details He never asked us to carry. Im excited for the baptisms that will happen tomorrow see you there!

We do baptism because it’s our public way of saying we belong to Jesus and we’re choosing to follow Him.

You may already know the answer in your heart. My encouragement is simply this: be open to how the Spirit moves you.
