Remember, O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession were left unassisted.
Full of confidence in your power I fly unto you and beg your protection.
Despise not O Guardian of the Redeemer my humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me.

Act of Consecration to St. Joseph

O dearest St. Joseph, I consecrate myself to your honor and give myself to you, that you may always be my father, my protector and my guide in the way of salvation.
Obtain for me a greater purity of heart and fervent love of the interior life.
After your example may I do all my actions for the greater glory of God, in union with the Divine Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

On June 17, the Church celebrates the Memorial of the Most Chaste Heart of St. Joseph — a beautiful feast highlighting the purity, love, and total self-giving of the earthly father of Jesus and most chaste spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

While the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary are more widely known, devotion to the Chaste Heart of St. Joseph invites us to contemplate his holy, undivided heart — burning with love for God, completely pure, and completely dedicated to Jesus and Mary.

St. Joseph’s heart was:

⬩ Chaste — completely faithful and pure in body, mind, and soul.
⬩ Obedient — always listening and responding to God’s will without hesitation.
⬩ Courageous — protector of the Holy Family through danger and exile.
⬩ Humble — content to live in the shadows so that Jesus could shine.

June 13 – Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Today we honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a heart filled with perfect love for God, deep compassion for humanity, and complete obedience to His will. A heart of pure love which was humble enough to surrender and say 'Yes' to being the Mother of God. A Motherly heart which searched desperately for her lost Son and which rejoiced when she found him again in the Temple. Help us too search for Jesus in our every day lives. The Mother's heart and unwavering faith which followed Jesus all throughout his life even in the footsteps of the Cross and which broke as she watched him suffer and die for us all. Help us always to walk in the footsteps of Christ.
This feast reminds us to imitate Mary's purity, humility, and unwavering faith, entrusting our lives to her maternal care and asking her to lead us closer to Jesus Christ.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us.
