DON'T JUST WORK. WORSHIP.

We often separate our Sunday life from our Monday life.
But what if your work is actually an opportunity to worship God?
Colossians 3:23 says: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”
That means your job matters.
Your attitude matters.
Your integrity matters.
Your work ethic matters.
Whether you're behind a desk, in a factory, on a construction site, in a classroom, in a hospital, behind the wheel, working at home, or serving somewhere else—you can honor God through what you do.
You don't have to preach a sermon at work to be a witness.
Sometimes your greatest testimony is simply being the person who can be trusted.
Don't just work for a paycheck—work for a purpose.
Whatever you do, do it for Jesus!

Daily Devotion
~Work Is a Gift~
Scripture: Genesis 2:15
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.”
We often think of work as something that came into the world because of sin. But work actually existed before the fall. God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden and gave him a job to do.
Work is a gift from God.
Whether you work in an office, a factory, a classroom, a hospital, a business, a home, or somewhere else entirely, your work can have purpose because God created you to be productive and to contribute.
There is dignity in honest work.
Sometimes we may feel like our job isn't important. We may not have the title, recognition, or paycheck we wish we had. But God doesn't measure the value of your work the way the world does.
Your work matters because you matter to God.
Today, don't simply see your work as something you have to do. See it as an opportunity God has given you.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the ability and opportunity to work. Help me see my daily responsibilities as gifts from You. Give me joy in what I do and help me use my work to honor You. Amen.

Today, we thank God for the gift of work and honor the dedication, service, and sacrifice of workers in our church, our community, and across our nation.

Day 5 — Know What You Believe
Scripture: Jude 3
Jude's message is simple: Know what you believe, know why you believe it, and don't be afraid to stand for it.
We live in a world filled with competing voices. Everyone has an opinion. Everyone has a philosophy.
“I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith.”
Everyone has an idea about what is right and wrong.
But Christians don't build their lives on opinions. We build our lives on the Word of God.
The faith has been received.
The faith must be defended.
The faith must be guarded.
And the faith must be lived.
God has entrusted His truth to us—not so we can hide it, but so we can faithfully proclaim it.
We don't need to apologize for God's truth.
We don't need to change God's Word to make people comfortable.
And we don't need to become angry when people disagree with us.
We simply need to be faithful.
Know the truth. Love people. Stand firm. Live faithfully.
One day, we will stand before the One who gave us the faith we received. May He find us faithful.
Prayer:
Lord, help me be faithful to You in a world that constantly pressures me to compromise. Give me courage to stand, wisdom to speak, grace to love, and strength to live what I believe. Amen.

Don't Just Believe It. Live It.
It's possible to know the right words and still live the wrong life.
Jude warns about those who would “pervert the grace of our Lord.”
Grace is amazing.
Grace is what saves us.
Grace is what gives us hope.
But God's grace isn't permission to continue living in rebellion against God.
Grace changes us.
Real faith should show up in the way we live.
It should affect our attitudes.
Our words.
Our relationships.
Our priorities.
Our choices.
Our witness.
Jesus warned in Matthew 7 that there would be people who called Him “Lord” but
whose lives demonstrated that they never truly knew Him.
So don't just ask:
“Do I say I believe?”
Ask:
“Does my life show that I believe?”
We aren't saved by our good works—but when Jesus truly saves us, He begins
producing a new life in us.
Know the faith. Defend the faith. Guard the faith. And most importantly—LIVE
the faith.

Day 4 — The Faith We Live
Scripture: Matthew 7:21
Christianity is more than what we say.
It's more than what we claim.
It's more than attending church, carrying a Bible, wearing a cross, or even doing religious things in Jesus' name.
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven.”
Jesus warned that there would be people who looked religious on the outside but had never truly belonged to Him.
That's a sobering thought.
Grace saves us, but grace doesn't give us permission to continue living in rebellion against God.
True faith changes us.
We don't live holy lives to earn salvation. We pursue holy lives because we have been saved.
When the gospel gets into our hearts, it begins changing our attitudes, our priorities, our relationships, our words, and our actions.
We will never be perfect—but there should be evidence that Jesus lives in us.
Don't just ask, “Do I say I know Jesus?” Ask, “Does my life show that I know Jesus?”
Prayer:
Jesus, examine my heart. Help me not to settle for an outward appearance of Christianity. Let my faith be genuine and let my life reflect the transformation You have brought into my heart. Amen.
