🌿 Crossing the Valley: Psalm 23 — Part 2 🌿
This past Sunday, Pastor Joe continued our series Crossing the Valley from Psalm 23, reminding us that the Lord is not only our Shepherd on the mountaintops, but especially in the valleys of life.
David's testimony is simple yet profound: "The LORD is my Shepherd, I shall not want." Through every trial, every sorrow, every uncertainty, God faithfully protects, provides, guides, restores, and comforts His people.
We were challenged to remember:
✅ The Lord is a personal Shepherd who knows, loves, and cares for His sheep.
✅ God restores our souls in the valleys through His Word, prayer, and His presence.
✅ He guides us in paths of righteousness, leading us according to His perfect will.
✅ He does not leave us in the valley of the shadow of death—He walks with us through it.
✅ The valleys that seem filled with pain can become places of worship, growth, and deeper intimacy with Christ.
One of the most encouraging truths from the message was this: Being with the Shepherd is enough. The valley may not disappear immediately, but His presence changes everything.
No matter what valley you may be facing today, know that Jesus Christ has already conquered the greatest valley through His death and resurrection. He is faithful to lead His people through every trial and one day safely home.
Join us each week as we continue our journey through Psalm 23 and discover what it means to trust the Good Shepherd in every season of life.
