We haven't truly listened until we've obeyed. Jesus didn't say the wise person was the one who simply heard His words. He said the wise person hears His words and puts them into practice.

How can we hear from God?

This week, Pastor Renee reminded us that God speaks in many ways:
• Through Jesus
• Through Scripture
• Through circumstances
• Through other people
• Through dreams and visions

Sometimes we're waiting for a dramatic sign while God is already speaking through His Word, a conversation, an opportunity, or even the situation we're walking through right now.

The question isn't always whether God is speaking.

The question is: Are we listening for Him in the middle of our current circumstances?

Prayer isn't just bringing our requests to God.

It's talking to Him, talking with Him, and making space to listen.

The Bible begins with God speaking: "Let there be light." It ends with Jesus saying, "Yes, I am coming soon."

From beginning to end, Scripture reminds us that God is a God who speaks.

Sometimes we're so focused on what we want to say that we forget to pause and listen. This week, take a few moments in prayer not just to speak, but to be still. God speaks to open and attentive hearts.

🍕Youth Lunch Out is coming up!

All 6th–12th graders are invited to join us on Sunday, June 28th for lunch after church! We'll walk from CLife to Subway, Benny's, and Jimmy John's, and you get to choose where you'd like to eat. Youth leaders will be at all three locations, so grab some friends and come hang out!
