PROVERBS Recap!
How is the best way to describe Proverbs to kids? A proverb is a short, wise saying…kind of like what you would see inside a fortune cookie…except a fortune cookie doesn’t always have true wisdom. 🤷‍♀️ 🥠
True wisdom from God will always point back to His goodness unlike fortune cookies that are based on luck 🍀 or chance 🤞. Solomon wrote down these wise sayings to help us stay on the right path in life.
We talked about how there is one chapter of Proverbs to read for every day (31!) We encouraged the kids to start on chapter 15 tomorrow (June 15th). There is more to know in Proverbs than what we could possibly cover in one lesson!
This was our last lesson on King Solomon. 👑 Next week, we will begin talking about the divided kingdom, AND we will have a special Father’s Day craft. Thank you for bringing your kids to church throughout the summer! ☀️

Register online for Ms. Sherry’s Shamrock class for a modified class schedule, small group teaching, flexible seating, and individualized attention! We also have an information form to fill out at registration the week of to help us get to better understand your child’s needs and likes. We want every child to have a great time at VBS!
