250 years for America and 260 years for the Methodist movement. What a year!

It was a real blessing and joy to have Rev. Morris and Joyce Wolfe worshipping with us this morning. Rev. Wolfe was the pastor of the Racine Nazarene Church in my youth. He could bring the Word of God in such a powerful way and he could sing with equal power and grace. He is still going strong at 89. I felt so privileged to preach on Pentecost Sunday with him in the pew.

We made it through the grilled hot dogs and fixin's for teacher appreciation day. Thanks to all who helped pull this together, all the dessert makers, set-up pros, the grill master and everyone in between. Now to think about the end of year pizza party for their last day at school.

Sunday, May 10th, we will be honoring the life giving love of Mothers and recognizing graduating seniors from our church family. Mark your calendars to come worship with us, as we give God thanks for both of these groups.

Also, thinking about having a service in June dedicated to the support of our family farms here in our region. We are blessed to still have several farms still hanging in there and so many young people in our 4H programs, FFA and other groups.
