Beth Israel Sinai Congregation Today, led by Rabbi Martyn Adelberg, Beth Israel Sinai Congregation continues as the heart of the Jewish community in Racine.

Shabbat services are held every Saturday morning at 9:45 a.m. All are welcome, and no reservations are necessary. We are a post denominational synagogue and interfaith families. On Shabbat Chanukah, Saturday, December 20th, Beth Israel Sinai will be hosting the renowned Brett Walkow following Saturday morning services. This will be in person and on zoom. Services begin at 9:45, followed by a Kiddush luncheon and entertainment. Please RSVP by December 15th. Your generous goodwill contributions are greatly appreciated.

Tisha B’Av is a solemn fast day marking the destruction of the First Temple (586 BCE) and Second Temple (67 CE) in Jerusalem as well as numerous calamities that the Jewish people have experienced, such as the Spanish Inquisition and the Holocaust. It is considered to be the saddest day on the Jewish calendar.
