This Thursday, May 14, MPLC will hold an Ascension Day Worship Service at 6:30 p.m.

This commemorative service, occurring 40 days after Easter, celebrates Christ’s victory over death. The Ascension reminds us that Christ’s departure to the right hand of the Father does not mean his absence. Instead, it is a transformation of his presence among us. Jesus has promised to be with us always, and he is present among us by the power of the Holy Spirit.
