If you’ve been meaning to grab one of our shirts, this is your reminder! 💜🙌

But these shirts are about so much more than just a shirt.

All shirt sales are being done through Upper Room Ministries MOV, and ALL proceeds go directly back into the ministry to help us continue serving our community through free meals, outreach events, and meeting needs as they arise.

And one of the BIG things we’re preparing for right now is our Community Thanksgiving Dinner. 🦃🍽️❤️

Our heart is to be able to provide a Thanksgiving meal to anyone who needs one — whether someone is struggling financially, spending the holiday alone, going through a difficult season, or simply needs a place to come sit at a table and be reminded that they are seen and loved.

❤️ **We're Looking for Volunteers!** ❤️

One of the greatest blessings of ministry is watching people come together with one purpose: serving others.

As Upper Room Ministries prepares for several upcoming community outreach events—including one of our biggest events of the year this Thanksgiving—we're looking for people who have a heart to serve.

You don't have to have a special skill set. You don't have to commit to every event. You just have to be willing.

There are so many ways to help, including:
🤝 Setting up and tearing down
🍽️ Serving food
👕 Organizing clothing donations
🧺 Sorting blankets and supplies
😊 Greeting and connecting with guests
🙏 Praying with people
💪 Helping wherever there's a need

Whether you can give a couple of hours or want to become a regular volunteer, we'd love to have you be part of what God is doing.

There is something incredibly powerful about a community coming together.

Over the past several months, we've watched God open doors to serve our community in ways we never could have imagined. Through Upper Room Ministries, we've been able to provide meals, encourage families, and begin planning events that point people to hope—not just for a day, but for eternity.

As we look ahead, we're preparing for some of our biggest outreach events of the year, including our annual Thanksgiving community meal and other events designed to love people right where they are.

Here's the reality: ministry takes willing hearts... but it also takes resources.

If you have ever wanted to be part of making a difference, this is your opportunity.

✨ Something special is happening… and you’re invited! ✨

Mark your calendars for Saturday, August 15th, from 4:00–7:00 PM because we’re hosting a community event at From Baked To Blessed, and we would absolutely love to see you there!

Here’s what you can look forward to:

We’re so excited for everything happening this Thursday with our friends at “From Baked to Blessed.” 💛

This is a day set aside to gather, connect, and simply be together — whether you stop in for a few minutes or stay a while, you’re welcome here.

💬 We’ve heard a few people mention this, so we wanted to share clearly…

Our Community Game Night is currently held once a month, not weekly.

And truthfully… we would LOVE to offer it more often. ❤️
We see how much it blesses families, brings people together, and gives our youth a safe, joy-filled place to be.

But right now, the reality is this:
We simply don’t have the financial support to sustain hosting it weekly.

Every burger, every fry, every game, every detail—it’s all covered through the ministry. And while we are so grateful to be able to do that once a month, going beyond that takes resources we don’t currently have.

We also want to take a moment to say how incredibly thankful we are for From Baked To Blessed. They generously allow us to host these nights in their space at no cost and continually pour back into these events in ways that make a huge impact. Without them, this wouldn’t be possible. 💛

✨ However… we do have vision.

We believe in creating more spaces like this.
We believe in pouring into our youth.
We believe in building something special for this community—especially as we head into summer.

And if the support grows… so can the opportunities. 🙌
