Day 4 – Peace in the Storm
Scripture: Philippians 4:6-7: “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and mind through Christ Jesus.”
Devotional: Prayer exchanges anxiety for God’s peace.
Storms come in many forms—illness, loss, uncertainty, family struggles, financial burdens, and seasons of waiting. God never promised a life without storms, but He did promise His presence through them.
“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” — Psalm 46:1
When the disciples found themselves in a violent storm on the sea, they feared for their lives. Yet Jesus was in the boat with them. He spoke three simple words: “Peace, be still.” The wind ceased, and the sea became calm. The greatest comfort was not the absence of the storm—it was the presence of the Savior.
The Holy Bible reminds us that peace is not found in perfect circumstances but in trusting God when circumstances are far from perfect.

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
When the storms of life surround me, help me remember that You are with me. Calm my fears, strengthen my faith, and fill my heart with Your peace. Teach me to trust You when I cannot see the way ahead. Thank You for being my refuge, my strength, and my constant help. May Your peace rule in my heart today and every day.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
