Obituary
Doris Marie Camp Dutton, born on August 15, 1950, peacefully passed away on May 27, 2026. She was a beloved member of Maranatha Baptist Church in Jasper, Alabama, where her faith was a cornerstone of her life.

Doris possessed a generous spirit and a deep commitment to serving others. She devoted much of her time to ministry work and aiding those in need through soup kitchens. Her compassion was a defining characteristic, extending beyond her service to the community. She found joy and fellowship in playing cards, board games, and bingo, activities that brought lighthearted moments to both her and those around her.

She is lovingly remembered by her children: John (Melinda) Camp, Jason Camp, Jeremy (Karrie) Camp, and Denna (Eric) Armstrong. Doris's legacy continues through a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were the pride of her heart, as well as sister, Ann (Bobby) Morrow, and brothers, Jimmy and J.W. (Brenda) Camp.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Ray Dutton. She also mourned the loss of her parents, John Daniel and Vera Dean Camp; her sister, Mary Elizabeth (James) Pilkington; two infant Camp girls; her brothers, Charles and Melinda Camp, and Tom and Juanita Camp; as well as one infant boy.

The family invites all who knew Doris to join in a visitation on May 29, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory, located at 31404 NE 1st Ave, Carbon Hill, Alabama. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at the same location beginning at 11:00 a.m., celebrating a life that touched many with kindness and devotion.

Doris Marie Camp Dutton’s life was a beacon of loving service and faith. She will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
