CLF Church is happy to announce changes to our pastoral team. Pastor and Executive AOG Presbyter Smokey Denna was voted in as Senior Pastor at our recent annual meeting, and local resident Gary McFarland was appointed Interim Pastor, while he completes his ministry studies, answering to the CLF board and Pastor Denna.
Pastor Denna is also the Pastor of the Westwood Assembly of God Church, so he will not be on site, but Gary will be filling that role.
We are excited about where the Lord is taking our Church and look forward to building a church that focuses on the word of God, the Holy Spirit and prayer and all are welcome.
We currently have services on Sunday mornings at 10:30am, with preservice prayer at 10:00am.
Gary has been a part of this community for almost 30 years and has been a part of CLF Church and the Christian community in Plumas County for 11 years. He also runs a large Assemblies of God Campground in Mineral, that has been in place for 71 years. Gary got his call for ministry in December 2022 and has been working hard on completing his credentials, that he started a few years ago. He is looking forward to growing CLF and partnering with other Churches to bring the word of God to our community.
