Holy Week — Saturday

Today is Silent Saturday.

Jesus’ body rested in the tomb. The disciples were grieving. Hope probably felt lost. Everything must have seemed uncertain and unfinished.

But even in the silence… God was still working.

Sometimes we live in those “Saturday” moments too waiting, wondering, praying, and not yet seeing what God is doing. This day reminds us that silence is not the end of the story.

Sunday is coming. 🌅

Take a few minutes today to sit in the quiet and prepare your heart for the hope of Easter morning. ✝️

Holy Week — Good Friday

Today we remember the cross.

Jesus was betrayed, mocked, beaten, and crucified. Not because He had to be—but because He chose to. He took our place and carried what we never could on our own.

Good Friday is heavy… but it’s also holy.

It reminds us how far God was willing to go to bring us back to Him.

“It is finished.” — John 19:30

Take some time today to pause and reflect on the sacrifice Jesus made for you. Sunday is coming—but today we remember the cost of our redemption. ✝️

Holy Week — Maundy Thursday

Tonight we remember the Last Supper.

Jesus sat with His disciples, broke bread with them, washed their feet, and showed what real love and humility look like. Even knowing what was coming, He chose to serve.

He gave us a simple but powerful reminder:
Love one another as I have loved you.

Before the cross… there was a table.
Before the sacrifice… there was service.
Before the victory… there was surrender.

📖 Read today: Matthew 26:17–29 (also Mark 14:12–25; Luke 22:7–20; John 13:1–35)

As we move closer to Good Friday, take a moment today to reflect on what it means to follow Jesus by loving and serving others. ✝️🍞

Holy Week — Wednesday

Today is often called Silent Wednesday.

Scripture doesn’t record much from this day publicly, but behind the scenes, decisions were being made. Judas agreed to betray Jesus… and the path to the cross was unfolding.

It’s a reminder that even when things feel quiet, God is still at work.

Sometimes faith isn’t loud moments or big crowds. Sometimes it’s choosing to stay close to Jesus in the quiet and trusting Him with what we don’t understand yet.

📖 Read today: Matthew 26:14–16 (also Mark 14:10–11; Luke 22:1–6)

Take a few minutes today to pause, reflect, and prepare your heart as we continue walking toward the cross—and the hope of Easter morning. ✝️

Holy Week — Tuesday

Today we remember how Jesus spent time teaching in the temple and answering hard questions from the religious leaders. Instead of avoiding the tension He spoke truth with clarity and authority.

He reminded people then and reminds us now that faith isn’t about appearances. It’s about a heart that truly follows God.

📖 Read today: Matthew 21:23–32 (also Mark 11:20–33; Luke 20:1–8)

Take a few minutes today to sit with this question:
Am I just saying “yes” to God with my words… or with my life?

Let’s keep walking through Holy Week together as we prepare our hearts for Easter. ✝️🌿

As we walk into Holy Week, it’s powerful to slow down and remember what Jesus did each day leading up to the cross and the resurrection. ✝️🌿

From His arrival in Jerusalem on Palm Sunday…
to the Last Supper…to the sacrifice on Good Friday… and the victory of Easter morning. This week changed everything.

If you’ve never followed the events of Holy Week day by day before, this simple timeline is a great way to walk through Scripture and reflect on the story together as a family or personally.

Take a few minutes each day to read along. Let it prepare your heart for Easter. 🌅

He came for you. He stayed for you. He rose for you.

Join us this Sunday at 10 AM for Easter worship. We’d love to celebrate with you! 💛
