Worship Services are held Sundays at 10:30 a.m. from the Sunday after Labor Day until Mid-June. Services include music, readings, and a sermon by our minister, guest

speaker or a member of the congregation. Our readings and sermons draw from Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist spiritual writings, literature and poetry. Newcomers are especially welcome and are encouraged to come and ask questions.

Join us on Sunday, June 14th at 10:30am in-person or via livestream for our worship service "Let Your Freedom Ring" led by Rev. Rebecca Froom.

On this Sunday, we reflect on journeys of freedom of liberation that we honor during LGBTQ+ Pride month and the holiday of Juneteenth. Juneteenth, which celebrates the end of slavery in this country, is also known as “America’s Second Independence Day.” This marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. In this service, we acknowledge the painful ways we have failed to live up to the values of our country and recommit ourselves to create a world of freedom and equality.

In this service, we celebrate the journey of becoming our authentic selves throughout all ages and stages of life. We honor graduating high school student Alex Schaareman in a Bridging Ceremony. On this first Sunday in Pride month, we reflect on the transformative power of the LGBTQ+ movement. All are invited to participate in a “glitter blessing” ritual, to celebrate the ways in which fabulous light glitters within each of us, whomever we are, whomever we love, and wherever we are on our journey. The UFPC Choir will sing.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the joy, resilience, and beauty of LGBTQIA+ communities.

In "The Q***r Beatitudes," Tim Atkins (also known as Sister Sweet Suffering Tea of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence) offers this blessing:

"Blessed are we, the whole q***r family,
for love is our birthright, and joy is our inheritance."

May we continue building a world where every person can live, love, and flourish as their full self. 🌈

Join us on Sunday, May 24th at 10:30am in-person or via livestream for our worship service "Rest in Peace: A Memorial Day Service" led by Ann Gillette Parsley, Ministerial Intern.

On this Memorial Day weekend, we honor those who died in the service of our country, risking their lives so the rest of us can live in freedom and peace. Each Sunday, we recite our covenant and our commitment to “strive for justice, compassion, and peace.” This Sunday, we reflect on how we embody this value within a world where wars and their human costs are all around us. We invite you to bring a photograph or memento of a loved one who died in active military service, or a deceased veteran.

Join us on Sunday, May 17th at 10:30am in-person or via livestream for our worship service "The Power of Questions" led by Rev. Rebecca Froom.

We live in divisive times when it is easy to act on unexamined assumptions. This Sunday we reflect on how curiosity can help us move beyond judgements and assumptions, so that we can learn to listen to ourselves and one another with love.

Join us on Sunday, May 10th at 10:30am in-person or via livestream for our worship service "Beginner's Eye" led by Rev. Rebecca Froom.

This month we reflect on the theme of "Awakening Curiosity.” Children are known for demonstrating a sense of curiosity and wonder that can sometimes be less accessible to adults. This Sunday, we turn our attention to the ways in which awakening curiosity can help us see and experience the world with what Buddhism describes as “beginner’s mind.”
