GOD'S VIEW OF CHRISTMAS
During this wondrous beautiful season,
let us never forget the real true reason
that we celebrate and share this time of love.
For on this day, God's son, The Christ Child, was sent from above
to dwell with us here on the earth.
As the angels proclaimed his miraculous birth,
shepherds and wise men came from near and far,
to see him as they followed the light of that famous star!
And as we enjoy our Christmas tree,
adorned with lights for all the world to see,
it serves as a reminder of the cross,
which would seem to some, to be counted as a loss.
But let us remember it was a part of God's plan,
to put in motion the salvation of man.
Because, with his unconditional love, he sent us the gift
of Jesus Christ, to live among us, our spirits to lift,
and to show us his ways to love one another,
to make one and all, in him, a sister and a brother.
Then, later on, with our sins would he die on a tree,
so that we could be forgiven and live for eternity,
with our Father in Heaven, when this earth we leave,
with joy, peace, and love, and our reward to receive.
So you see, my sisters and my brothers, it isn't all about the gifts and gaiety,
but about the sacrifices and endless love for us of the Great Deity !!
