Good morning and happy Sunday from Santa Clara Baptist Church!

As a new summer week begins, we are thankful for the simple gifts the Lord has given us: blue skies, warm sunshine, and another chance to gather in His house. Today is a beautiful day to pause from the busyness, come together as a church family, and set our hearts on Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it” (Psalm 118:24 KJV). No matter what this past week looked like for you—busy or quiet, joyful or heavy—God has not changed. His mercy is new this morning, His grace is still enough, and His arms are still open. We’d love to have you with us today as we sing the old hymns, open His Word, and encourage one another in our walk with the Lord. If you’ve been looking for a church home, or just a place to sit and breathe and hear from God, we invite you to join us later this morning. Come as you are, bring your family and your friends, and let’s rejoice together in the goodness of God

Worship Wednesday:

God’s Word reminds us that He is worthy of praise at all times, not just on Sundays. Let this Wednesday be a day where we slow down, thank Him for salvation, and remember the price Jesus paid for us. “I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” – Psalm 34:1 (KJV)

Worship Wednesday:

When we gather as a church family, our voices join together in worship—but that worship starts in our hearts long before the first song. Ask the Lord today to prepare your heart, to clean out anything that doesn’t belong, and to make you ready to serve Him. “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” – Psalm 51:10 (KJV)

"God's Design for Marriage, Companionship and Covenant"

Worship Wednesday:

Praise isn’t just for when everything is going right. Some of our strongest worship happens when we choose to trust God in the middle of the storm. If your week has been hard, use today to lift your eyes back to Him and remember His faithfulness. “The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.” – Nahum 1:7 (KJV)

"The Heart of the Godly Mother"
Exodus 2:1-10

Worship Wednesday:

In the middle of a busy week, it’s easy to forget that God is our rest. He doesn’t ask us to carry every burden alone. Today, take a moment to lay your worries at His feet and remember that He cares about every detail of your life. “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Santa Clara family, we had the sweetest opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus this weekend. 🇺🇸❤️ Yesterday (Saturday), a group from our church went over to Riverchase nursing home and decorated many of the residents’ doors with patriotic décor, turning the hallway into a little avenue of red, white, and blue. While we were there, we even met the wife and daughter of a former Santa Clara member, which was such a special reminder of how the Lord weaves our stories together across the years. It was a joy to love on our neighbors, brighten a few days, and represent our church family in the community—“by love serve one another” (Galatians 5:13).
