The Fall/Winter newsletter went out via Email and USPS this week. Information about the Christmas Wreath program and order forms were included in the mailing. We are partnering with Liberty FFA Chapter Illinois once again for our live wreaths. We sincerely ask that when those cute little Easter ducklings you bought for your child or grandchild, grow up and become too much work for you - please do the responsible thing and find an appropriate home for them rather than "dumping" them on the cemetery grounds. Two young adult ducks (similar to image on the right) were dumped between 10:30 AM & 12:30 pm at the cemetery pond today. (Our cameras did not get a good image of the vehicle.) Whoever you are, you obviously raised these creatures as pets, to be dependent on humans for their food, and then dumped them to fend for themselves. Shame on you!
If anyone is interested in two ducks - they are confused and wandering near the cemetery pond.

Our office will be closed Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day.

As a quick reminder - orders for Christmas Wreaths must be received no later than November 7th.
Wreaths are typically placed by the 7th of December and remain until the last week of February or until no longer presentable, whichever comes first. Thank you!
