Service day and picnic!
All are welcome to our monthly service days! (second Saturday of each month)
9 am - 1 pm Pioneer Park
Let's share, show and rejoice in the love of Jesus together!
A theme this year is "Love your enemy that you may be children of your Father in Heaven."
Service, community, prayer and hospitality are wonderfully woven together in our monthly service days!
We will gather at 9 am to team up on specific jobs. We will regather at 12 noon for a shared meal and informal fellowship time with old and new friends! Bring a water bottle and expect a great day!
Projects will include:
1. Triangle and downtown Quincy w**d removal- (10 servants) LOL lead Jeff Kepple- bring shovels, w**d pullers and eaters, garbage cans, blowers
2. Multiple yard clean-ups, metal removal - (8 servants) LOL Lead Dan Roberts and Bruce Williams -
3. Wood ministry w**deating and organization- LOL Lead Henry Martin and Joe Lee - bring w**d-eaters
4. Visitation and helps for seniors and handicapped. LOL Lead Dorrie Philbeck (call 530-537-5707 if you have someone who would like visitation and helps).
5. Meal prep for dinner pantry at QCC - (1-2 servants and a truck) LOL Lead Christiana Nielsen
6. Public space trash clean-up projects LOL lead Lucinda Wood
Lunch will be served by the famous gourmet Mike Miller! Serving and fellowshipping together ... delicious!
