Last Sunday's homily ...A Christian's life requires one to embrace their cross not sidestep it. Peter's negative reaction to Christ's relevation that He must endure the Cross for sinners' sake takes the Apostle aback, but it's warning that no human life is untouched by suffering. So much so that in becoming man the eternal Son gives meaning to our suffering as He redeems it to Himself, embracing what it means to be human in this world~ Fr Kingsley
