Devar Chaim (Hebrew for “Word of Life”) Ministries is a church now located in the village of South Jamaica, Queens, NY under the leadership of Elder Jonathan Aaron Toogood. It is the intent of this ministry not to just be a place of worship but also a place of restoration, healing and deliverance; an oasis of wellness & wholeness in every area of life. at we believe in the Bible inclusively, not esteeming the Old Testament over the New Testament nor the New Testament over the Old Testament. And we are Apostolic in that we continue in the apostle’s doctrine. We believe in one God, creator of heaven and earth who came to earth in the person of Yahshua Ha’Mashiach. We believe that Yahshua Ha’Mashiach, known to the world as Jesus Christ, came to redeem man back to God and that one must believe in Him to be saved. We believe that the baptism in the name of Yahshua Ha’Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah) by immersion washes away sins. We believe that the seventh day is the Sabbath according to the Word of God and it was sanctified in creation before the law was given to Moses and that today this sanctification still applies. ANNUAL YOUTH WEEKEND: STIR UP THE GIFT! 🔥

What a MIGHTY way to open up Youth Weekend! We came together with one mind, one accord, and one purpose to lift up the name of Jesus! 🙌🏽

Elder Gary Battles stepped to the pulpit and brought forth a RIGHT NOW WORD that stirred up the hearts of the youth! The atmosphere was charged, the saints began to magnify the Lord, and the Holy Ghost had His way!

We came ready to worship, praise, pray, shout, and give God glory! There was a stirring in the room, a hunger for the Word, and a fresh reminder that the gift God placed on the inside of us must be stirred up!

And this was JUST NIGHT ONE… 👀
