Next Saturday, August 17th, our Deanery will host its first Young Adult Summer Barbecue at Holy Child Jesus Church in Richmond Hill! This casual evening of community will begin with a Holy Hour at 6:00PM and the barbecue following immediately after. We hope to see you there!

This Saturday, May 11th, at 7:00pm, our Deanery will host another Young Adult Event with the theme “Where’s the Fire? Come, Holy Spirit!” This casual evening of discussion, praise, and worship will be held in the Basement of St. Mary Gate of Heaven Church and led by Fr. Henry Torres, Pastor of Mary of Nazareth in Brooklyn. All young adults are invited!

This past Sunday, Fr. Baltazar Sanchez Alonzo was installed as the 26th Pastor of St. Mary Gate of Heaven Parish by Bishop Paul R. Sanchez!
At his Solemn Mass of Pastoral Installation, he was greeted by the parish’s clergy, staff, Pastoral Council, and trustees. The mass was followed by a joyous celebration in the Academy Auditorium. We keep Fr. Baltazar in our prayers as he takes on this new role of guiding us, his flock, with wisdom and understanding.

Este pasado domingo, ¡el P. Baltazar Sánchez Alonzo fue instalado como el vigésimo sexto párroco de la parroquia Santa María Puerta del Cielo por el obispo Paul R. Sanchez!
En su Misa Solemne de Instalación Pastoral, fue recibido por el clero, el personal, el Consejo Pastoral y los síndicos de la parroquia. La misa fue seguida por una alegre celebración en el Auditorio de la Academia. Mantenemos al P. Baltazar en nuestras oraciones al asumir este nuevo papel de guiarnos a nosotros, su rebaño, con sabiduría y comprensión.
