Love Is Sacrificial

True love goes beyond words and feelings—it gives, serves, and sometimes suffers for the good of others. Love is patient, enduring, and reflective of God’s own heart. It strengthens those we influence, builds character, and reflects the eternal love of God.

Scriptures on Sacrificial Love:

1 Corinthians 13:4–5
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs.”

1 John 4:8
“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.”

John 3:16
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Reflection:
• Sacrificial love is both active and intentional.
• It shapes warriors in faith, character, and purpose.
• It is rooted in God’s love for us, and through prayer and action, we extend it to others.

Thank you, NYC. Our first giveaway day on Thursday, February 5, 2026 was a full success, and all groceries were distributed.

Because supplies are now exhausted, the second distribution day from our original post — Saturday, February 7, 2026 (11:00 AM–3:00 PM) — is canceled.
Please do not travel for Day 2.

A Note on Honoring Our Elders & a Call to Prayer

Across the world, cultures relate to their elders in very different ways.
In many societies, elders are deeply honored and highly respected. They are seen as carriers of wisdom, history, faith, and cultural identity. Their voices are sought in decision-making, their needs are prioritized, and their presence is valued as a blessing.

In other cultures, however, elders are not always valued at the same level. Aging can sometimes be viewed as a burden rather than a blessing, leading to neglect, isolation, or diminished respect. This contrast reminds us that honoring elders is not universal—it is a value that must be intentionally taught, modeled, and protected.

Regardless of cultural differences, elders deserve dignity, care, and honor. They have labored, sacrificed, and paved the way for future generations. How a society treats its elders reflects its moral and spiritual health.

Prayer Request:
We ask for prayer for the protection of elders everywhere—physically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. Pray for their safety, provision, and well-being. Pray that hearts will be softened toward them, that families and communities will rise to defend their dignity, and that elders will be surrounded by love, honor, and peace. 🙏
