St. Isidore Food Pantry

The St Isidore Food Pantry held their quarterly meeting on 24 March 2024. There are many moving parts to our Ministry and the 14 volunteers who attended represented different parts that make our pantry successful.
The members of Saint Isidore Parish are a key part, donating food and funds so the Food Pantry can feed the ever growing numbers of families in need in our community.
Our sister Ministry, the Mobile Manna, delivers food to homebound members of the Quakertown.
Everyone who comes to the pantry leaves with food. We turn no one away!

Major subjects of the meeting included our largest fundraiser on April 27th from 4 to 8 PM at the Promenade of Shops in Center Valley. The First PA Mustang Car Club is sponsoring a Car Show and our Pantry is the prime recipient of the event. Please join us. See links for details.

An active and family-oriented Ford Mustang Car Club that is open to all makes and models. We serve car enthusiasts and residents southeastern Pennsylvania.

Many many thanks to Amy Jankiewicz and the folks from Penn Pump & Equipment Company in Hatfield!
It was a great assortment of items, but we did not expect such a generous donation in addition to the food. We are saving for a new commercial refrigerator and your donation will go towards the purchase.

Thank you all for thinking of us and I would like to pass on the many thanks and prayers we get from the families who visit our pantry.

Last Saturday the Joyful Noise 9 concert at the Quakertown Univest Performance Center raised funds and collected canned goods to support four Local Food Pantries: The Quakertown Food Pantry, F.E.A.S.T, Saint Isidore's Food Pantry, and Heaven's Bounty.
Many thanks to Saint Paul's Luthern Church in Quakertown for organizing this beautiful event.

St. Isidore’s Daisy Troop 2111 & Brownie Troop 2805 recently organized a Christmas food drive to benefit the St. Isidore pantry. The attached photo shows brownie, Bree Barth, delivering the food to the pantry. We thank Daisy Troop 2111 and Brownie Troop 2804 for helping to make Christmas brighter for those in our community who have difficulty putting food on their tables this holiday season.

During this season of Advent please consider sharing some food items with those in our community who may be in need. Nonperishable donations may be left in the carts at the entrances to the church. We have attached a suggested list of donations in the form of an Advent calendar. We are grateful for any & all contributions from the generous parishioners of St. Isidore. Kadence Miracle & Darcy Baxter organized a food drive for the St. Isidore Food Pantry delivering hundreds of much needed food items for the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. We are proud of Kadence & Darcy for their thoughtfulness, compassion, and hard work, Thank you Kadence & Darcy!

The St Isidore Pantry is now open every Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We provide food to all individuals and families in the Quakertown area who have difficulty putting food on their table. We are now able to respond to requests from our clients for individual food items.

Masks and social distancing is required.
