What does God desire from his children?

James 4 tells us that God wants them to find their fulfillment in him.

He is a jealous God who wants us to draw near to him.

But we pursue our significance in our relationships, careers, families, kids, and accomplishments.

By pursuing the World, we reject God.

The good news is that he always has more grace for the child of God who is humble, broken, and draws near to him!

What are you currently pursing more than your relationship with God?

When you repent and display a humble broken heart, God will exalt you and draw near to you. That’s GRACE!

Great song with a great message. Fight for your spouse. We are in a battle each day with selfishness, pride, insecurity, bitterness...the list goes on. —— the first fight we need to pick is the fight against our own selfishness! We must chose to love and put our spouse’s needs before our own interests —— what can you do today to show your spouse that you’re fighting for them?
