St. Isidore PREP

After much deliberation I have decided to cancel PREP tomorrow night. At 4 p.m. the real feel temp will only be @6 or 7 (sorry had to :) ) but that is what is projected. Then by the time class is over it will be worse.

Because many people come from various locations traveling through country / mountain roads it would be unsafe for people to travel in those conditions.

The catechist may send out assignments so as to not lose a week of instruction. They then will review the completed assignments in the beginning of class next week.

Today we celebrate the Memorial of St. Dominic the founder of the Order of Preachers.
HAPPY FEAST DAY to Sister Maryellen, Sister Ceal, Sister Agnus and Sister Marie. Religious Sisters of the Dominicans of Peace who are part of our St. Isidore Parish community.

Today is World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly. Pope Francis established this day to fall on the fourth Sunday of July near the feast of St. Anne and St. Joachim (July 26) who were the grandparents of Jesus and the parents of Mary.
May God bless all grandparents and the elderly with joy and love today and always.
