In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
And the Word was made flesh,and dwelt among us, ( and we beheld His glory; the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, ) full of grace and truth.
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, He hath declared Him. John 1 v1 v14 v18.
Jesus is the Word; Jesus is God; Jesus became God in the flesh and lived among mankind to reveal God the Father to us and the only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ.
John the Baptist said," I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, make straigh the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah.
John was saying get prepared for the coming of the Lord. Get the crooked things out of your life. Get the wrong things out of your life. Prepare for the coming of the Lord.
Jesus was the Word
John was the voice
Today Jesus is the Word
Believers are the voice
Get the crooked things out of your life.
Get the wrong things out of your life
Prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ!!!

The Rowseys will be at the Quaker City Baptist Church Sunday June 2nd at 10:30 a.m.

PAY DAY
Wages : A payment usually of money for labor or services, made by an employer to an employee :
For the wages of sin is death : but the gift of GOD is eternal life through JESUS CHRIST our Lord. Romans 6 v23.
If you live in sin and practice that sin in your life you will receive payment. The Devil is the paymaster, and He will see to it that you get paid. If you work for Him, the wages of sin is death. But the gift of GOD is eteral life. You will receive that gift by faith.
You are saved by faith. You are to live by faith. You are to walk by faith, looking to the LORD JESUS CHRIST by the power of the HOLY SPIRIT. Amen.
You live for the Devil, the wages is death ( Eternal separation from GOD )
You live for JESUS, the gift is eternal life ( Be in GOD'S presence for eternity)
The choice is up to you. You get to make that choice.
Pay day is coming. (Judgment) which payment or gift are you going to receive.
Think about it. Eternity is forever!

THE FATHER'S LOVE FOR HIS CHILDREN
Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of GOD: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew Him not. 1 John 3 v 1.
Literal translation: Behold ye, of what sort of love the Father hath given to us, that we should be named children of God, and we are: and because of this the world does not begin to understand us, because it did not understand Him.
We are the sons of GOD
I am a child of GOD through faith in JESUS CHRIST. We don't hope to be, we don't expect to be, every believer can rejoice and constantly thank Him that he is GOD'S child.
Now we are the children of GOD
Right now! We are the children of GOD.
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us. The kind of love that John is talking about is a strange kind of love, an unusual kind of love, a kind of love to which we are not accustomed. GOD loves us.
What manner of love the Father has for us!
The love of GOD-- His love for us-- is shed abroad in our hearts by the HOLY SPIRIT.
GOD has demonstrated His love by giving His Son to die for us. GOD loves you, and He has proven His love-- He gave His Son to die for you.
We are GOD'S children " right now "
The moment you trust CHRIST you receive everlasting life. You are born again, born into the family of GOD. GOD'S children.
What manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us. Why? Because we are His children. He has bestowed His love upon His children.
AMEN!
