Perspectives is coming in January! One class will be on Sunday afternoons in Lakewood (https://sites.google.com/perspectives.org/lakewood/). We're excited to announce two Perspectives classes will be coming to our area starting in January, 2026! One will be a traditional format at Lake City Community Church in Lakewood on Sunday afternoons (https://perspectives.org/courses/lakewood-wa-spring-2026/). The other will be a new format that will run one Saturday a month for five months at five churches across five cities in the South Sound area (https://perspectives.org/courses/puget-sound-multi-city-spring-2026/). Today, on Epiphany Day, we celebrate how Christ was revealed to the Gentiles through the visit of the Magi. This day reminds us that Jesus came for everyone, inviting all to worship Him. As we reflect on this, may we share His light and love with those around us so they, too, may come and worship Him.

Today, we reflect on the legacy of Martin Luther’s bold stand for faith alone, grace alone, Scripture alone, in Christ alone, and all for the glory of God alone. The Reformation continues to challenge us to live out these truths, relying fully on God's Word and His grace every day.

In The Kingdom Strikes Back, Ralph D. Winter summarizes many of the events and themes of the last 4,000 years. Human history could be summarized using one dominant theme. Winter finds this keynote theme in the bible. He sees the theme of the kingdom of God as the primary drama throughout a single ten-epoch 4,000-year unfolding story.
