Snippet of Faith: Psalm 63:1-8 "On my bed I remember you; I think of you through the watches of the night. Because you are my help, I sing int he shadow of yor wings. (vv. 6 & 7)". Prayer: Dear Jesus, please teach us to seek You out and rest in Your presence. Help us to put aside the distractions and to praise You for who You are. In Your name. Amen.

Point to Ponder: What distractions keep you from finding time for conversatin with God? What's a good way to prepare your heart to "be still" before Him?

Snippet of Faith: Hebrews 4:14-16 "For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are--yet he did not sin. (v. 15)". Prayer: Dear Father, please forgive us for being harsh with others. Teach us the grace of compassion so they might see Your love in us. Amen.

Point to Ponder: Who do you struggle to have compassion for? How can you develop a more understanding heart?

Point to Ponder: How can God help you react gently to someone who's angry? What will you say to someone who needs a gentle response from you today?

Snippet of Faith: Ecclesiastes 5:1-5 "Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few. (v. 2)". Prayer: Dear God, please help us to truly listen to others. We want to make time in our prayers to really listen to You. Amen.

Point to Ponder: When it comes to listening, how might you think differently about your prayer time with God? How can you take more time to listen to Him?

Prayer: Dear Jesus, please help us to see Your "sheep" like You see them. Amen.

Point to Ponder: Who are three people who need Jesus you could pray for one a regular basis? How might you share the love of Jesus with them?
