Purmela Baptist Church

Purmela Baptist Church At Purmela Baptist Church, we are a group of praying believers with the mission to minister as taught by God in the Bible.

Purmela Baptist Church was founded with 10 members in 1886. The church was originally called Basham Baptist Church, and the congregation later merged with nearby Salem Baptist Church. In 1927, the church building was moved to its present location, and the church was renamed Purmela Baptist Church. Since that time, the church has served a wide area of rural Texas. Even though our church dates back to 1886, we continue to look forward!
