Purdy FCA

We had 76 students for FCA today!

Thank you Grace and Nora for bringing devotion on this year's theme verse of John 15:8 and that we are proven in Him! Also thank you to Kiya for our closing prayer!

Thank you Corinth Baptist Church Cassville, Missouri and Tasha Griffis for our amazing breakfast! Best cinnamon rolls ever! They were yummy! Mrs. Parrigon and Ms. Blankenship-Coy are willing to be kidnapped into the Griffis family due to all the yummy food we have had lately from Tasha. Purdy Schools have been spoiled rotten with Tasha feeding us lately.

We talked about the following:
-Sonic card sales booth at the school carnival on Friday, November 13th
-T-Shirt distribution and extras
-College Game Day/Activity

God is good! We are so thankful for our community and all they do to support our students. They are a beautiful blessing and extension of Christ's love through all their support. We are blessed beyond measure here!

👕 A PLAN TIME WELL SPENT! 👕

All 150 FCA shirts have officially been labeled and sorted by grade level and payment status! 🎉 Distribution will begin TODAY!

However, please don’t panic if your student doesn’t receive their shirt until Friday. Distributing 150 shirts is a BIG job, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as we work through them!

A few important reminders:
👕 Student Shirts: Students could either sell one Sonic card or pay $8 for their shirt.
👕 Adult Shirts: Adult shirts were $15.

💰 Payment Reminder: Shirts will NOT be distributed until they have been paid for or the Sonic card requirement has been fulfilled.

🎉 Want an FCA shirt but missed the original order? We will have extras available for purchase fairly soon, so stay tuned for more information!

Thank you for your patience and for supporting Purdy FCA!🦅🙏

We had 48 students for FCA today! A little down today, however, many of our amazing students were attending the Ozark 7 Music Day with the Purdy K-12 Music Department. Being in a small school district is such a blessing when we get to see our students be involved and excel in so many activities! We can not wait to hear how their day went.

Also it was pretty entertaining to fit that many students, plus sponsors in Ms. Blankenship-Coy's classroom today.

Thank you South Central Missouri FCA for our devotion from the Kingdom Sports Minute with Ron Brown called Fundamentally Flawed. Also thank you to Charlie for our closing prayer!

Thank you The First Free Will Baptist Church of Purdy and Renae Preuss-Neill for our delicious muffins, fruit, and drinks! They were yummy!

We also talked about the following:
-T-Shirt orders ending today
-College Game Day/Activity qualifications
-Qualification/Compacts due October 15th
-Membership Google Form
-SYATP/Concert of Prayer Google Form

Well, I guess the FCA team needs to address the elephant in Ms. Blankenship-Coy's classroom… or should we say the GIANT BOX in her classroom?! 😂

Yes, that giant box sitting in Ms. Blankenship-Coy’s classroom is bigger than she is... Which is not too hard since she is so short! Thankfully, this GIANT box has a purpose! 📦😂

We are collecting plastic grocery bags all year long to help support Mission Arlington’s Food Pantry and Donation Shop. Our high school FCA students will be taking the bags with them when they travel to Mission Arlington for their mission trip this coming summer. 💙

So, as you are cleaning out that cabinet, car, pantry, or wherever you have that ever-growing collection of plastic bags hiding… BRING THEM TO US! 🛍️🙌

📍 Ms. Blankenship-Coy’s classroom — High School, B111
📦 In the very large, very obvious, slightly ridiculous box 😂
📅 Anytime throughout the school year!

Every bag may seem small, but together they can make a BIG difference for the people being served through Mission Arlington. ❤️

Help us fill the box! 🛍️📦
And maybe… just maybe… help Ms. Blankenship-Coy reclaim a little bit of her classroom. 😂

Thank you for supporting FCA and our students as they prepare to serve this summer! 💙

All unsold Sonic cards and money need to be to Ms. Blankenship-Coy or Mrs. Parrigon by the end of the school day TODAY.

If we have any unsold cards, we will let everyone know via social media and possibly let students sell again individually at a later date.

Thank you for your help in covering student shirts, college game days/activities, and mission trips. We are truly blessed in our amazing community.

FCA Sonic Discount Card sales end TOMORROW.

All unsold cards and money need to be to Ms. Blankenship-Coy or Mrs. Parrigon by the end of the school day on Monday.

The cards are $10 and offer ten discounts that do not expire until December 1st, 2027.

See an FCA member or contact Ms. Blankenship-Coy at [email protected] to purchase.

Each FCA member is asked to sell Sonic cards to help fundraise this year. We all have to do our part in order to make it a success. These sales can help individual students pay for their FCA t-shirt (new option to help families cut costs this year!), activities/events such as college game days (new activity for FCA this year!), and will contribute to their mission trips. As FCA sponsors, we do not want students and families to face financial burdens due to a student's participation in FCA, so these fundraisers help offset those costs.

The cost/sales breakdown:
-1 card sold-FCA shirt paid for
-4 cards sold-FCA shirt & college game days/activities paid for
-10 cards sold-FCA shirt, college game days/activities, & mission trip paid for
