We will be passing out treats from our new “home”, 405 W Grant (old Turner Drug) from 5-7:30pm [or until we run out]. We’d love to help give your young ones a bit of joy!!

Precautions are taken and "hellos" can certainly be distanced, for protection.

Some church members were privileged to be guests of New Covenant Methodist Church, Edmond, to hear author, Bob Goff, on Sat., Dec 9th. His book, "Love Does" became a New York Times best-seller.

Mr. Goff didn't spend time promoting his book, but he did enthusiastically emphasize how he believes that love is not a feeling to be described , but is expressed as an action!

"An unselfish act of love whispers God's name", Bob Goff.

Don't forget to join the Heart of Oklahoma Ministerial Alliance for our Annual Thanksgiving Worship Service on November 16, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. The service will be hosted by Trinity United Methodist Church and Pastor Justin Blankenship from Landmark Church will be providing the sermon for the evening. Area churches are encouraged to attend and even provide special music. For those congregations or individuals desiring to participate, please call 517-0789. The year is slipping away so quickly but a very special time in the life of our church is just around the corner....and it is something all who see this can participate in!!!

We are having our annual Stew and Chili luncheon on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in our Fellowship Hall. The address for the church is 117 W Washington in Purcell. For a mere $6.00....you can have Stew, Chili or Red Top! For those who may have never had Red Top it is the best of both worlds....a bowl of stew with a ladle of chili on top. Of course you get cornbread, dessert and a drink with your meal.

We also will have homemade baked goodies to help you get ready for Thanksgiving as well as hand made craft items. Mrs. Blanche Breatchel has donated a beautiful quilt to the church and for a donation of $5.00 you may become the recipient of her
hand quilted talents. Please see picture attached!

We will have take out available also so if you are unable to come in and stay for awhile, you can call in your order and tell us when you will be arriving and we will have it ready for you! 527-3006

Our children's Wednesday evening program called Chalice Kids has begun again. Seth Barrett is our youth leader and is having a great time working with kids ages 5-13. He is assisted by our church pianist, Derindia Barrett. The fun begins at 5:45 each evening and lasts through 7:00 p.m., which coincides with our Adult Seeker's Bible Study Group. The kids enjoy a meal, crafts, lesson, music and games while their parents or grandparents get together for a weekly video Bible study and share a meal or snack together. Come join our groups and experience the joy of fellowship with those who desire to experience the Grace of God first hand!

Here is a current calendar of events for our church in October. We will be participating in conjunction with the Chamber of Commerce during their Fall Festival event on October 26th. For the past two years we have sponsored a Trunk or Treat event and we will be doing so also this year. More information will be available, but we encourage you to mark your calendars for this special event.🎃
