Today’s update on our missions team that is currently in Chicago:

Yesterday, our team served again at Grace & Peace Choice Foods, helping serve the community and learning more about the heart and mission behind the Grace & Peace church/community center. We were blessed with a tour of the campus and heard about the incredible work God is doing there.

During dinner, we heard from Alex with the CDC, who shared his powerful testimony of redemption — coming out of a life marked by addiction and street violence and finding new life through Jesus.

That evening, we participated in Rose of Sharon. We wrote Scripture on note cards, tied them to roses along with Dream Center cards, and spent time anointing and praying over each rose. We then took them into the streets of Chicago, praying with women and sharing the hope and love of Jesus Christ.

God granted us favor as we were able to connect, pray, and share with nearly everyone we encountered. We are so grateful to be part of His work.
