Faith Mission is a ministry where volunteers from our local churches fix a meal every Thursday for anyone that can benefit. We have been sending out 80+ "to go" meals each week. But the last two weeks we have done 118 & 119 "to go" meals. We will be having a meeting on May 12th at Noon. If a group of 4 to 6 persons from your church would like to know more about this local mission ministry you are welcome to attend. We would love to have two or three more groups to help. We do close the months of June and July and will open back up the 2nd Thursday of August. Faith Mission is located at 1109 SE Ninth Ave., Arcadia. Thank you for reading this post!

Thank you to Bill Frank for a good first planning meeting today for a Community Christmas Celebration that will be held December 19th at the Charlotte Harbor Event Center at 6:00 pm on the grass!

Faith Mission will be open tomorrow afternoon (Thursday)
from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. Ft Ogden Methodist is preparing the

Pastors in DeSoto County....Faith Mission has a pantry and we are willing to assist persons you come in contact with that have a need for food. I know that DeSoto is pretty well inundated with food assistance from All Faith Food Bank and other sources but if we can assist please let us know.
