Lambs are not smart
they wander
they follow the wrong voice
they drift farther than they meant to

they don’t realize they’re lost
until they are already too far

and if we’re honest

that sounds a lot like us

we chase what looks good
we trust what feels right
we drink from things
that were never meant to satisfy

and then one day

we look up

and we’re far

far from peace
far from truth
far from home

and we don’t know how to get back

because lambs don’t find their way home

the shepherd does

He goes after them

not when they’ve figured it out
not when they’ve cleaned themselves up
not when they’ve proven they can do better

but while they are still lost

still wandering
still unaware
still weak

He finds them there

and He doesn’t stand over them
disappointed

He kneels

He gathers

He lifts

places them on His shoulders
or holds them close
against His chest

and carries them

because the truth is

you were never meant
to find your own way back

you were always meant
to be found

so if you feel far

if you feel like you’ve gone too far
made too many wrong turns
trusted too many wrong things

hear this

He is not waiting at the end
for you to figure it out

He is already coming for you

already stepping into the places
you thought He wouldn’t go

already reaching for you

and the distance you think
disqualifies you

is the very reason
He moves toward you

because lambs are not smart

but the Shepherd

He never loses
what is His

and He will carry you

all the way home 🤍

Today is Easter Monday…
The same power
that walked out of that tomb
is still moving

Still saving
Still healing
Still calling people by name

Still calling you

Easter didn’t end yesterday

The miracle didn’t stay in the tomb

It followed us into today

Into this moment
Into your life
Into every place that feels heavy or uncertain

The grave is still empty
and the world is forever changed
because of it.

Yesterday was loud.

Celebration
Hope
He is risen

But today…

Today is quiet.

The kind of quiet where it sinks in
what that really means.

That death didn’t just lose once
it was defeated.

That the grave didn’t just open
it was overcome.

That Jesus didn’t just rise
He is alive.

And because He lives…

This isn’t just a story we visit once a year
This is a truth we live inside of every single day

On the ordinary Mondays
In the quiet mornings
In the middle of laundry and mess and life

Because the stone didn’t roll back
so He could get out

It rolled back
so we could see in

And what we saw…

was an empty grave
and a living Savior

So today—

Live like it’s true

Because it is 🤍

Today is Easter…
and something in me
doesn’t want to rush past that

Because we say it so quickly

He is risen

and move on

But do you understand
what that means?

That means

the body
that hung on a cross

the lungs
that stopped breathing

the heart
that was pierced

started again

Not symbolically

Literally

He was dead

and then—

He wasn’t

And I can’t stop thinking
about the stillness of that tomb

How dark it must have been
How final it must have felt

How death had never
lost before

Every other body
that entered a grave

stayed

Every other story
that ended in death

ended

Until Him

Until Jesus

Because death
met something it had never met before

A Savior
who didn’t just die

but had the authority
to take His life back

And I wonder
what it sounded like

when breath filled His lungs again

When silence broke

When the grave
realized
it couldn’t keep Him

Because the stone
wasn’t rolled away
so He could get out

It was rolled away
so we could see

See that death
does not have the final word

See that sin
does not have the final word

See that your story
does not end
in the grave

Because if Jesus
walked out

then nothing
is too far gone

Not your past
Not your mistakes
Not the things you’ve buried
and tried to move on from

Not even the parts of you
that feel completely dead

Because this is what Easter means

It means death
is defeated

It means hope
is not fragile

It means darkness
doesn’t win

It means God
is not finished

And if He can step into a grave
and walk out alive

then He can step into your life
and do the same

So today—

don’t just say
He is risen

Feel it

Let it shake you

Let it confront you

Let it change you

Because Jesus

is not in the grave

He is alive

And that

changes everything 🤍

Carry your cross.
Stop living a life
this world applauds

Stop chasing what fades
what numbs
what looks full
but leaves you empty

Because carrying your cross
was never meant to look comfortable

It means putting the bottle down
even when your hands are shaking

It means forgiving
when everything in you wants to hold on

It means speaking His name
when silence would be easier

It means living in a way
that people don’t just hear about Jesus

they see Him in you

Because it was never meant to be
just a seat in a church pew

It was meant to be a life

A life marked by fruit
by change
by something different

Not perfect

But surrendered

Do you know Him

Not know about Him
not grew up around Him
not heard His name in passing

Do you know Jesus

Because now is the time

Not later
not when it’s convenient
not when you feel ready

Now

Because the things you’re hiding
aren’t hidden

God sees

Every habit
every secret
every compromise you’ve made peace with

And we call them small

But sin was never small

If one drop of poison
sat in a gallon of water

would you drink it

So why do we sip from it daily
and call it normal

Call it harmless
call it just how life is

Carry your cross

Even when it costs you
Even when it sets you apart
Even when people don’t understand

Because this life

this short
temporary
passing life

was never meant to be lived
for the approval of the world

But for the One
who carried His cross

all the way

for you

So don’t settle

Don’t numb it
Don’t hide it
Don’t pretend it’s enough

Because you were made
for a life that looks different

A life that reflects Him

A life that proves

He is real

Sunday is coming…
Friday felt like the end

The sky went dark
The ground shook
Hope seemed to slip right through their hands

He said, “It is finished”
and they thought it was over

They watched Him breathe His last
watched His body go still
watched the miracle they believed in
be laid in a grave

And Saturday—

Saturday was silent

No answers
No movement
No signs that anything was changing

Just grief
Just confusion
Just the echo of everything they had lost

Have you ever lived in a Saturday?

Where God feels quiet
where prayers feel unanswered
where you don’t know if what you believed
is still true

But what they didn’t know

What hell didn’t know

What the grave didn’t know

Was that heaven wasn’t silent

It was working

Behind the stone
behind the darkness
behind what looked like the end

God was rewriting everything

Because Sunday was coming

The stone would roll
The grave would lose
Death would bow

And the same Jesus
they watched die

would stand again

Breathing
Victorious
Alive

So if you’re in a Friday
or stuck in a Saturday

Hear this

God is not finished

What looks buried
is not gone

What feels silent
is not abandoned

Because resurrection
has a way of showing up
right on time

Sunday is coming

Today is Holy Wednesday…
And betrayal is rarely loud

It doesn’t always look like turning away in the open
or shouting no in front of a crowd

Sometimes it’s quieter than that

A slow step backward
A subtle shift in the heart
A moment no one else sees

Just a decision
made in the dark

Judas walked away

Not with a scene
not with a warning
not with anyone stopping him

Just quietly

The same feet
that had followed Jesus
now led him somewhere else

And the lantern light faded behind him

The voices
the warmth
the presence of the One he knew

growing dim

while the shadows
grew closer

And I can’t help but wonder

how close can you be
and still walk away

How near can you stand to truth
and still choose something else

Because betrayal is rarely loud

It doesn’t always look like rejection

Sometimes it looks like holding the silver
a little tighter

Sometimes it looks like choosing control
over surrender

Sometimes it looks like staying close enough
to be seen

but far enough
to not be changed

And we want to believe
we would never

never trade Him
never leave Him
never choose something less

But Holy Wednesday is honest

It doesn’t let us hide behind that

Because the question isn’t
would you betray Him

The question is

what are you holding
that keeps you from fully choosing Him

Because Judas didn’t just take the silver

He let something else
be worth more

And that’s where it begins

Not in a moment
but in a heart

slowly pulling away

And still

Jesus knew

He knew the footsteps
He knew the betrayal
He knew the cost

And He didn’t stop walking

He kept moving toward the cross

toward the pain
toward the weight of every choice
every moment
every heart that would turn

including mine

including yours

So today

don’t just read the story

feel it

Let it search you
Let it expose what’s hidden
Let it call you back

Because betrayal may be quiet

but so is His voice

And He is still calling

not with shame
not with anger

but with open hands

Come back

Come closer

Let go of what you’re holding

because He is worth more

He has always been worth more

Today is Holy Tuesday…
They circled Him in the temple
voices polished with pride
hearts set on proving Him wrong

And the questions came.

Not soft ones
Not curious ones
But sharp
measured
meant to trap Him

“By what authority…?”
“Should we pay…?”
“What happens in the resurrection…?”

They weren’t asking to understand
they were asking to win

But He answered anyway

Not just with words
but with truth that cut deeper than their questions

Because Jesus doesn’t just respond
He reveals

He told stories that exposed hearts

About tenants who rejected the very one sent to save them
About invitations ignored
About people so close to truth
yet unwilling to step into it

And the crowd listened

Some leaned in
some walked away
some grew more determined to silence Him

Because truth does that

It softens
or it hardens

There is no middle ground when Jesus speaks

And then He said it plainly

Love the Lord your God
with all your heart
with all your soul
with all your mind

And love your neighbor as yourself

Not part of you
not when it’s easy
not when it’s convenient

All

Because religion will ask for appearance
but Jesus asks for everything

And I wonder

Would I have stood there
quietly nodding along

or would I have felt exposed
uncomfortable
convicted by words I couldn’t argue with

Because today
on this Holy Tuesday

it doesn’t feel like a distant story

It feels like He’s still asking

Do you really want truth
or just something that agrees with you

Do you want to know Me
or just understand enough to feel in control

And it’s easy to say we would have chosen Him

But the truth is
we still answer that question every day

In what we hold onto
In what we avoid
In what we let Him touch

Because Jesus is not interested in debates

He is after hearts

Fully
honestly
completely His

And the same voice
that answered every trap with truth

is the same voice
that would soon fall silent

on a cross
for you

So today
lean in

Don’t just ask
to test Him

Ask
to know Him

And when He answers
let it change you

because it will

"Good Night Friends,
I hope you had a Blessed Monday, and you Sleep in peace tonight with the knowledge that God is awake and watching over you, now let's give thanks,"
Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today and for all of the ways you helped me to love and serve you better. Thank you for giving me the sunrise and the sunset.
Help me forgive others who have done wrong against me. Make me attentive to the opportunities you provide each day for me to love other people as a reflection of your love.
Quiet my mind and give me rest, so I can wake up tomorrow to worship you. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
