Do you have some verses you are needing to say? Sections of your book you need to complete? Kate will be on her front porch tonight from 6:30-7:00 pm with a listening ear!
Parents, this is not a drop-off situation...please stay with your child the entire time.

Tonight is Move On Up Night at Awana!
For most kids, tonight will be pretty much the same. But, for the Cubbies who will be in Kindergarten next year? You get to move on up to Sparks for the night and see what they do there! For the Sparks that will be in 3rd grade next year? You'll get to see what T&T is all about! Those T&T kids that are moving up to 7th grade in the fall? Tonight you'll see how fun Trek is! And for any 8th graders who will be headed up to high school next year...come hang out with the Journey group!
It's going to be a blast!

This week is Camp/S'mores Night at Awana! We will have a s'mores snack for the kids to enjoy that night and we will also learn all about Awana camp that happens during the summer (for kids from 3rd grade to high school). If you (because they always need leaders at Awana camp) or your child is interested in attending, we will have packets to hand out with more information. But, this week, everyone can come dressed like you are ready for camping...backpacks, canteens, bandanas! Oh my!

Adam, those T&T boys love having you as their leader to hang out with and talk to every week...and (per the photo) have you cheering them on and playing games with them during game time! Thanks for being willing to jump in as a brand new leader this year...we are grateful for you!

This week is Soup-R Bowl Night at Awana! We will have a food drive and have tables set up for the kids to "vote" on who they think will win the Super Bowl...the Seahawks or the Patriots!

Some ideas of things to donate:
Cereal
Canned vegetables and fruit
Peanut butter and jelly
Oatmeal
Powdered milk
Baby food
Crackers
Tuna fish
Oil
Bottled/canned juice or juice boxes
Flour
Sugar
