Another year is nearly underway, and it's one like none other in the history of LSF! At this writing, it is still not clear if we will be meeting on the church lawn next Tuesday evening, or on Zoom. Watch the Whitman County Covid risk wheel for the latest info. If we're still in the red zone, Zoom it is! If orange, yellow or green, we're outdoors at the church! Either way, we'll be together, and Jesus will be our Companion. It's a win-win! If you are new to the area and interested in whichever scenario transpires, please contact Ann Summerson ([email protected]) for either Zoom codes or to RSVP for a bagged dinner on Tuesday. LSF ALUMS! I (Ann) am letting you all know that I'm thankful for YOU and all the friendship we've shared over the years. Several years ago, I requested short snippets describing LSF's impact on you and your lives. Concordia has changed and grown in beautiful ways recently, so there are many new congregation members who would love to know more about LSF, especially historically. If you feel so inclined, please add a line or two for me to share with them. Also, if you would like to buffer up the LSF coffers financially, it's so easy! YAY for University Sunday! This one was AWESOME, with more musical instruments than we could count, amazing speakers, fabulous song/prayer leaders. Everyone worked together to make this service Jesus-focused and completely great! Thanks to our lovely students.

Two more bits of information for you: Sunday worship this weekend starts at 9:00! Starting the following Sunday, back to 10:00. Next week, on Tuesday/Wednesday, the 14th and 15th from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., there will be fun preschool work parties across the street in and around the preschool building! If you have some pent up energy and a willingness to serve, please show up!

LSFers! Just 11 days until our first Tuesday night gathering! Huge thanks to all who have volunteered to greet, break the ice, lead music, share a devo and COOK! It'll be great to be together again, AND to welcome our new friends!

A Rachael update: she is still in Post Falls but should be coming back to the area this week. She will be staying at a skilled nursing facility for a bit while she gets her sea legs (Avalon or Good Sam). She will also be assigned a new (accessible) apartment very soon. With that in mind, it would be VERY helpful to her if we (Concordia and LSF) pack up her belongings soon so that when she gets her apartment number, we can get her things moved quickly. Please post below if you are able to help. Needed items: boxes, packing paper, tape, markers, and eventually, trucks. We will coordinate a key exchange as needed. Thank you all!
