We have been inexpressibly blessed by the Father's favorable Providence. He counts us worthy to stand with His sheep, rather than the goats and this is, by far, His greatest blessing through His Son Jesus Christ.

Our congregation has grown by one, to this end; as Pamela Wade of Pennsylvania has united with Nashua. She is drawn to us by reaffirmation of faith. We are called to celebrate and thank God for leading yet another to our thriving and growing congregation!!!!!!!

Exodus 3:1-10
[1]When Moses kept the sheepe of Iethro his father in lawe, Priest of Midian, and droue the flocke to the backe side of the desert, and came to the Mountaine of God, Horeb,
[2]Then the Angel of the Lord appeared vnto him in a flame of fire, out of the middes of a bush: and he looked, and behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
[3]Therefore Moses saide, I will turne aside nowe, and see this great sight, why the bush burneth not.
[4]And when the Lord sawe that he turned aside to see, God called vnto him out of the middes of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he answered, I am here.
[5]Then he saide, Come not hither, put thy shooes off thy feete: for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
[6]Moreouer he saide, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Izhak, and the God of Iaakob. Then Moses hid his face: for he was afraid to looke vpon God.
[7]Then the Lord said, I haue surely seene the trouble of my people, which are in Egypt, and haue heard their crie, because of their taskemasters: for I knowe their sorowes.
[8]Therefore I am come downe to deliuer them out of the hande of the Egyptians, and to bring them out of that lande into a good lande and a large, into a lande that floweth with milke and honie, euen into the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hiuites, and the Iebusites.
[9]And now lo, the crie of the children of Israel is come vnto me, and I haue also seene ye oppression, wherewith the Egyptians oppresse them.
[10]Come now therefore, and I will send thee vnto Pharaoh, that thou maiest bring my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Galatians 1:1-5
[1]Pavl an Apostle (not of men, neither by man, but by Iesus Christ, and God the Father which hath raised him from the dead)
[2]And all the brethren which are with me, vnto the Churches of Galatia:
[3]Grace be with you, and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Iesus Christ,
[4]Which gaue himself for our sinnes, that he might deliuer vs from this present euill world according to the will of God euen our Father,
[5]To whom be glory for euer and euer, Amen.

The reformer John Calvin reminds us in his Institutes that "The Law was given to the Jews, not as an end in itself, but to keep alive hope of salvation in Christ until His coming."

Today, in western Pennsylvania, Rev Ramsey' s exegesis is right on point, concerning the dangers of reliance on the law as a means of salvation. Salvation is found in Christ alone!!!

John 15:16
[16]Ye haue not chosen me, but I haue chosen you, and ordeined you, that ye goe and bring foorth fruite, and that your fruite remaine, that whatsoeuer ye shall aske of the Father in my Name, he may giue it you.

The Father, in His merciful Providence, has seen fit to add to our number. This morning, by reaffirmation of faith, Lindsey and Ashley Anderson heeded their respective calls to believe on the Gospel and formally unite with the Nashua family. They are originally from Jamestown, Pennsylvania and are now living in nearby Hermitage with their mother; who also graced us with her presence this morning. These two beautiful young women exude a maturity well beyond their years and we look forward to many years with them at Nashua.

WE PRAISE GOD FOR THE STABILITY AND GROWTH THAT IS OUR PORTION.

What does it truly mean to love our enemies?
Pastor Ramsey's exegesis provides great context in this issue. In this fallen world, it can be a difficult thing to do,indeed. But we are called to forgive, as Christ has forgiven us!!!
